About

Sandra is a devotional writer for The Quiet Hour and Standard Publishing, ministries of David C Cook. She is a director of women’s ministries, a Bible teacher, and a pastor’s wife.

Her journey to write for publication began at Montrose Christian Writers Conference. She went on to publish numerous articles, short stories, and devotionals. Book #2 in her Sackets Harbor Mysteries series, The Death Collector, won the Editors’ Choice Award 2023. Anchorless Summer, Sandra’s women’s contemporary novel won the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference 2022 Foundation Award.

On a personal note, Sandra grew up on a dairy farm in western New York where she learned early how to milk cows, drive a tractor, and bale hay. Life in the country also cultivated an appreciation for a summer’s walk through a field of clover, an autumn’s trek through a woodlot, and a spring’s rest on a creek bank. Any of which she may allow her fictional characters to do in their quest to solve a mystery.
