Unveiling Mystery, Exploring Faith.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. - Luke 2:10
A WORD FOR WOMEN
The gray sky held one swath of blue. I studied it and learned a spiritual truth. Our lives are often overshadowed with seasons of sadness. Our hearts are burdened over matters we cannot fully explain. Challenges, disappointments, heartaches tend to occupy our minds and cloud our vision. Yet, Jesus Christ is like that swath of blue in a gray sky. He is the one true and constant light of our personal world. Imagine yourself being drawn closer and closer to the blue swath. Less and less of the surrounding gray you will see. As we draw near to Him. He will draw near to us. He promised.
Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. James 4:8

Review by Rosalyn on Goodreads …
The Girl in Her is an evocative read that masterfully intertwines themes of love, loss, and rediscovery. From the opening scene where the main character grapples with feelings of emptiness as a teacher facing summer solitude, I was drawn to her internal struggles and poignant memories. The author’s vivid descriptions bring the New England settings to life, enhancing the narrative’s emotional weight and atmosphere. I also loved the subtle yet profound integration of faith and hope throughout the book. The way the author explored themes like trust, forgiveness, and redemption added depth without overwhelming the story. Overall, I enjoyed how The Girl in Her balanced heartache with hope and left me reflecting on my own life and relationships. It’s a story that lingers in the mind and heart, and I’m grateful for the time I spent within its pages.
